I’m so happy you have booked a family session with me! I know choosing a photographer can be a very personal experience so thank you for choosing me.

Throughout any of my sessions, I tell stories through my photography and my aim is to tell yours. It’s all about capturing the true emotions and connections of your family.

I don’t believe in stiff group portraits or uncomfortable poses for hours on end. Even better news?!I’m fast!

As your family photographer, I will capture the unique essence of your family even if the kids want to run around!

Through my lens, I make sense of the “chaos”. I am very laid-back and make the most of even difficult situations.

I will capture the uniqueness of your family- its’ realness- and I’ll make sure everyone is having fun doing it!

my approach

Lifestyle photography encompasses some posing and then prompting you to do something. You won’t be looking at the camera most of the time because the point is to capture you in the moment. I aim to get authentic photos of your family and children; a realistic representation of you. I also have a documentary approach so at times, I do not guide you at all. I simply take pictures of you doing whatever you are doing (picking flowers, walking away, or comforting a child). At one point you will ask me what I want you to do and I will simply respond, “keep doing what you are doing. “

I pay attention to little moments that are happening around me and I snap away. I am very laid-back and do not stress about getting you or the kids to look at me. So have fun, go with the flow, and let me take care of giving you a wonderful family photo session experience.
